SIVAR GOLD®, new fungicide for the control of downy mildew and Phytophthora

SIVAR GOLD® has been developed to provide an effective solution in the control of various diseases, such as downy mildew and Phytophthora, which affect crops of great importance in Spain, such as potatoes, tomatoes, and grapes, among others.

It is composed of two active substances with excellent resistance management, including potassium phosphonate at 25.5% (expressed as phosphorous acid) and azoxystrobin at 6.25% in a high-quality concentrated suspension (SC) formulation, creating a synergistic formulation that enhances the fungicidal effect.

This unique combination of active ingredients has preventive, curative, and anti-sporulating action, providing efficient protection against potato and tomato late blight (Phytophthora infestans) and grape downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola), among other diseases. Another notable characteristic of this systemic fungicide is its ability to protect crops during high-risk periods by stimulating the plant’s natural defenses.

It is authorized for use in different crops, such as grapes, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, peach trees, and nectarines, at various stages of growth.

LAINCO has demonstrated its commitment to research and innovation in the agricultural industry by introducing this new solution to the market. With this exclusive formulation, the company aims to provide farmers with an effective and reliable tool to protect their crops, thereby ensuring productivity and the quality of their harvests.
