Post-emergence herbicide, effective against broadleaf weeds.
DOFINOL® is a hormonal, systemic, selective herbicide, rapidly absorbed by
foliar and by the roots. It translocates throughout the plant until it accumulates
in meristemic tissues. It interferes with cell division and differentiation, as well
as protein synthesis. Its action is softer and more durable than that of 2,4-D.
MCPA is stable to hydrolysis and photolysis in soil. It decomposes in humid and
warm conditions, being able to leach. The duration of its residual activity is 3-4
months.
