Anti-diarrhoeal
Diarrhea is defined as the deposition, three or more times a day (or more frequently than is usual for the person) of loose, liquid stools.
There are multiple factors that can cause diarrhea, among them, it can occur as a side effect of a drug, due to treatment associated with antibiotics, digestive disorders or of infectious origin (viral, bacterial or even parasitic origin).
Activated charcoal acts as an antidiarrheal, inactivating toxins and microorganisms in the digestive tract by means of a physical adsorption process.
