TOTSEC® is a natural, non-selective contact herbicide formulated with plantderived pelargonic acid. It acts exclusively by contact, without translocation, providing localized action, minimizing the risk of crop damage and preventing the development of resistance.

TOTSEC® is effective against annual and perennial monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. It is also indicated for sucker suppression in crops such as vineyards and olive groves, and as a crop desiccant in potatoes.

TOTSEC® shows a very favorable environmental profile, as pelargonic acid rapidly degrades into natural elements that re-enter the carbon cycle, leaving no soil residues. The product is non-volatile, has no residual activity, requires no pre-harvest interval and presents low risk to human health and the environment.
