Natural origin insecticide
MILSAJ® is a broad-spectrum insecticide that acts by contact and ingestion, with translaminar activity that affects the insect’s nervous system by activating the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. This mechanism makes it a highly effective tool for pest control.
Its active ingredient, Spinosad, belongs to the chemical group of allosteric modulators of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) – Site I (IRAC Group 5). This compound induces nervous system excitation in insects, triggering involuntary muscle contractions, prostration with tremors, paralysis, and ultimately death.
Produced through the natural fermentation of the bacterium Saccharopolyspora spinosa, MILSAJ® stands out for its high efficacy and low environmental impact. Its primary mode of action is ingestion, complemented by contact activity, maximizing its effectiveness across various applications.
In addition to its effectiveness, MILSAJ® is characterized by its low overall toxicity and environmentally friendly profile, making it ideal for sustainable practices. Its natural origin and production method make it particularly suitable for use in organic agriculture.
